Happy Birthday Sammy and Noah

Happy, happy belated birthday to my favorite twins, Sammy and Noah. We had such an amazing time at their birthday party this weekend and I can’t wait to see what great things are in store for these two in 2011.

Sammy and Noah were born at 23 weeks gestation. The odds were stacked against them since birth and not only have they proven their doctors wrong on numerous occasions, they have also shown us who know them that miracles do happen each and every day. While Sammy Sue and Noah are stars in their own right, they would not be where they are today without their parents who constantly fight for what is best for their children. After meeting their grandparents, great-grandmother and their Tia, you can tell that they are surrounded by the best of the best who will stop at nothing to see these children fulfill their utmost potential while embraced by love and support.

Jordan has blogged about their journey since birth. Not only do you get to read their story which is so eloquently written, you also get to see photos and videos so that you can share in their happiness along the way.

I have known Jordan for about 18 months and am truly honored to be called her friend. While I have read descriptions about blogging moms such as “SAHM, decorator, philanthropist, etc., etc.”, Jordan needs no description. She is simply mom. She takes her kids to preschool and a million different types of therapies every day all while managing to still be so stylish and put together!

If I can tell you to do one thing this week it would be to check out Noah and Sammy Sue’s blog. It is one of hope, faith, and encouragement. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will have a new appreciation for life.
