Look who finally made it to our house tonight!!
We L-O-V-E LOVE the Elf on the Shelf at our house. Not only is the elf darling, but the book that comes along with it is pretty cute too! The elf “flies” off to the North Pole every night to report to Santa whether your child has been naughty or nice, The next day he appears in a different spot. Charlie enjoys looking for him each morning to see where he has landed.
The book asks the child to name their elf. Our creative genius Charlie aptly named his “Elf on the Shelf” when he was two. Each year I think that he will get a new name, but it has yet to happen. What are your elf names?
Jack the Elf is working his charm at Morgan's babysitter's house. I told her yesterday I was going to call him at Nana's and she straightened up really fast!!
ReplyDeletewell, jack named ours "shoes" last year, so I started calling it "Boots". I like that a little better and Jack didn't remember anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteOurs is named Billy Joe (BJ), and showed up last night. Dillon was skeptical and giggled several times as we read the book. Carly was acting a little tootie last night and I told her BJ was watching and she said "that thig isn't even breathing!". Too funny...I was excited this mornin that they were excited he had moved.
ReplyDeleteElephant the elf...this year we are working On potty training and the elf brings rewards from Santa if he was good the day before.
ReplyDeleteOur Elf is named Elmer. (the glue was sitting out on the counter when the boys named him - so creative-LOL) Elmer made his appearance a little early this year - the Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving - due to the rowdy behavior of my two little angels. Not sure I would have him appear that early again. I think the novelty is wearing off because I caught my oldest trying to throw a ball at him to knock him down. Might be rocks and coal under the tree this year....
